Top 5 Restaurant Technologies at MURTEC 2022

We are proud to announce that COGS-Well was selected as one of the top 5 new restaurant technology providers at the Multi-Unit Restaurant Technology Conference (MURTEC) in Las Vegas on March 8, 2022.


The competition started with COGS being selected to exhibit in Start-Up Alley at MURTEC. Start-up Alley is a section of the exhibit floor reserved for "the hottest, most innovative restaurant technology start-ups". There were 40 restaurant companies competing to exhibit at MURTEC in Start-Up Alley and COGS-Well was selected as 1 of 16 companies to exhibit.



Angela Duffy, the co-founder of the Restaurant Technology Network, sent COGS-Well this message to confirm our participation, "You are among an elite 16 brands we are welcoming into RTN's Start-Up Alley this year. We are thrilled to offer you a huge CONGRATULATIONS! The competition was fierce. And you made it to the top! Next, you will be competing to be selected as 1 of the top 5 new restaurant technology providers".


A panel of judges including Phil Crawford from CKE (Carl's Junior and Hardee's), Astrid Isaacs from Bloomin' Brands (Outback Steak House and Carrabba's), and Tom Seeker from Earl Enterprises (Bertucci's, Buca di Beppo, Bravo, Brio, TooJay's, Earl of Sandwich, Chicken Guys, and Planet Hollywood) was tasked with selecting the top 5 restaurant technology providers from the 16 exhibiting in Start-Up Alley. They did interviews and reviews with each contestant.


On March 8, 2022, the judges selected COGS-Well as 1 of the top 5 new restaurant technologies. The judges were looking for innovative solutions and COGS-Well's use of innovative new technology and unique customer services to make inventory control much easier for restaurant and food service operators caught their attention.

Bill Lindsey, a partner and co-founder at COGS-Well, represented COGS-Well in a panel discussion for the 5 selected new technology providers. This event was attended by all of the MURTEC restaurant operators and technology providers at the event.


Bill explained to the audience why COGS-Well can be installed much faster than traditional inventory systems and why it is also much easier to maintain.


MURTEC is a restaurant industry technology conference. Each year restaurant technology executives gather to meet with restaurant technology vendors as well as to hear from industry thought leaders. Typically over 300 restaurant companies attend MURTEC and in addition to a floor with vendor exhibits, there are featured speakers and a variety of restaurant technology-related seminars.
